We have a few acres here in Connecticut so we decided we needed to explore our backyard. That meant going on a hike. About 10 minutes from our house we discovered a waterfall that leads to Jackson Cove. How cool is this...
The kids LOVED the waterfall, they took their shoes off & played in the water for at least an hour. What a great way to spend the afternoon.

The waterfall is not in our backyard, but the trail with all the trees is our backyard. They don't really have traditional neighborhoods here in Oxford. It's like living in the mountains. Yes, Derek is still at the same company.
