We have been trying to get to Nauvoo all summer. So this being the last weekend before school starts we thought we better make it work. Illinois is such a beautiful state & we were so excited to be able to see more of it. What can you say about Nauvoo other than you have to go there for yourself. To be able to see the Trail of Hope, Carthage Jail, Joseph Smiths home, the Nauvoo Temple, the Nauvoo Groves & so much more...what an amazing experience.

I bet that was awesome- what a great thing to do with your kids! How far do you live from Nauvoo?
We enjoyed it so much. You're exactly right, you have to go there to appreciate it.
