Grayson's Room

Gray is an organizer, he loves to help if organizing is involved. This is what your sons entry looks like when his goal is to open every single box in his room. Some of you are worrying about the fire hazard, I assure you we dug him out of his room a little while later.

It is official

When I came home from running errands the other day this was in our front yard. I guess this makes it official, our house is for sale. I never thought I would be so sad to leave our neighborhood here in Illinois. We have LOVED the 3 years we have been here & will miss our friends here so much. Love to everyone.

Band Concert

We were so excited for Gray to have his first band concert. The kids were seriously amazing, they did such a great job. I was expecting it to sounds horrible considering they have only been playing their instruments for 2 months, but they did awesome.

Happy Halloween

We had a beautiful day for trick-or-treating this year. Gray had to take off his sweatshirt & gloves because he was to hot. Love it!!

Cubs vs. Mets

Saturday we took the kiddos to Wrigley Field for our first Cubs game. Der & I loved watching the game, & the kids loved eating food… nachos, hot dogs, goldfish, pistachios & licorice.

Our Harvest

We didn't plant very much this year, just a few onions, a tomato, a watermelon & a cucumber plant. The other day Lindsey & I went out to check the garden & we found several cucumbers. We were very excited. Little did we know these few were just the beginning. We have probably 18 cucumbers sitting on the counter now. We have given some away & we have tried to be very creative. We are putting cucumbers in everything.

Kindergarten here she comes

Lindsey started Kindergarten last Friday, & she loved it. She had a great day, she liked her teacher & she loved riding the bus. I had a brief sob fest after she left, but then was happy to go run errands by myself.
